BHM Aquincum Museum and Archaeological Park

The Aquincum Museum opened in 1894 to exhibit the invaluable archaeological remains found in the territory of the Hungarian capital. Budapest is the only European capital north of Rome, where the city’s Roman heritage can be displayed in a large contiguous area. The museum’s collections contain several million items.

During the visit to the BNC, neutron-based instruments, such as PGAA, NIPS-NORMA, RAD, SANS and TOF-ND and their applications in Heritage Science are demonstrated by the experts of the BNC
